Ask Mr. Steve
I just moved into the Lancaster area, and was looking online for a brewer/homebrewer's club. I came across a club that met in LBC, but it looks like the last news from them was in 2009. You were listed as one of their "club related links", so I was hoping you would be able to point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Bill and welcome to our area! You are correct that Lancaster does have a homebrew club that meets at the Lancaster Brewing Company.
We also have a club called YAHA, York Area Homebrew Club. We typically meet the last Wednesday of every month here at our York store class room 7 pm till 9 pm. Because of last weeks weather we moved it to tomorrow which i'm holding my breath about the weather again!
We have a very active club with about 30 members. We do a lot of different things like a picnic in June, hay ride / October fest, bus trips, homebrew competitions etc.
Even though it's a bit of a ride from Lancaster we still have members from Lancaster and harrisburg. Matter of fact we are easy to get to from Lancaster. Did you get to visit our Lancaster store yet? We do lots of neat things like brewing classes, tastings and so on. Are you signed up for our newsletters Bill? You will get coupons and all the latest happenings when you get our Brewmutt Happenings!
Don't forget to check us out on Facebook too! Thank you for your interest in our store and club. Hoppy Brewin.....Mr. Steve
